Take Control Of Your Travel Website: Customize It The Way You Like

Product Updates Weekly Update November 24, 2017

We have a whole new bunch of website customization features, and we’re excited to show you! Each has been specially crafted to improve your travel site appearance and add to its uniqueness. So, let’s jump right into these brand new options under the Vacation Labs website builder and booking engine –

#1 – New Website Header & Footer Layouts

The 3 new header options emphasize your brand in a whole new fashion. With the transparent header options, your logo, offerings and support details blend in with your banner for a clear and catchy overlay effect.

You also have the option to emphasize your brand logo over a solid background, should your banner image impact its visibility.

The new footer option is equally appealing. It helps minimise the details on display, as per your preference.

We’ve also included hollow button styles to give your website a fresh modern approach. These buttons let your tour images do all the talking and integrate well with a variety of designs and colours.

#3 – New Tour Card & Collection Card Styles

These two sections have also been revamped with interesting styles to display your tours and tour collections in brief. The tour card styles have 3 new views –

They each highlight the tour name, price, time and location in different formats. The ‘Detailed’ style even offers a gist of your tours.

In case of the collection cards, 3 unique styles have been added to the system –

The ‘Semi Overlay’ style displays a brief preview of your collection type along with its name. The others focus on the aesthetics of the collection and also display the collection name and the number of tours it contains. The ‘No Overlay’ format can display starting prices too.

#5 – Unlist Trips But Maintain Visibility

Besides the interesting collection card styles for the home page, you can also change the look and feel of tours listed under specific collection pages. It displays the tours in the collection based on departure dates. This feature was specially designed for tour operators with fixed departure trips.

It also helps customers directly see which are the latest or upcoming departures instead finding out the departure date by clicking on every tour.

#6 – Unlist Trips But Maintain Visibility

Do you have custom trips designed just for a specific few? With the new ‘Trip Unlist’ feature, you can ensure that anyone with the URL to that trip can view its details. However, it will not be available directly on your website. Those with access to this link can book the trip or inquire about it, based on the settings you select.
