WhatsApp Chat Icon

With a recent update to our website builder, you now add a floating WhatsApp chat icon to all pages on your website natively. Clicking the chat icon will initiate a conversation with your business using the WhatsApp app (on mobile) or WhatsApp Web (on desktop).

Before this update, one was forced to use a third-party script, but that led to a significant dip in PageSpeed scores. On the other hand, this new chat icon is extremely light-weight. It is also optimized to change its position intelligently to avoid overlapping with important call-to-action buttons (such as the Book now button).

[PILOT] Send booking confirmation (and other messages) on WhatsApp

While the WhatsApp chat icon are available for all account, we are also starting a pilot program which uses the WhatsApp for Business API (WABA) to send transaction messages, such as booking confirmation, payment links, pre-trip message, post-trip message, etc. via official WhatsApp for Business phone numbers. The same feature can be used for sending marketing messages to your customers via your official WhatsApp number.

Please note, there is an additional cost and an additional process that needs to be followed to adhere to WhatsApp guidelines which is why this is being launched as a pilot program first.
